Bowen Therapy

The Bowen Technique is one of the most versatile and effective therapeutic treatments available today. Its ability to re-align and balance the body means it is effective for most conditions. A treatment consists of a series of gentle moves on skin or through light clothing, with the client usually lying on a bed or treatment couch, although it is possible to be treated seated. A session usually lasts up to an hour and frequently results in a deep sense of relaxation, allowing the body to recharge and balance itself.

The original Bowen Technique is extremely gentle and is considered appropriate for anyone from pregnant women to new born babies, the frail and the elderly. It can assist recovery from many conditions, from traumatic injury to chronic illness, depending upon each individual’s capacity to heal. No adverse side effects have been reported.

Clinical Supervision

Clinical supervision is a formal process of professional support, reflection and learning that contributes to individual development. Clinical supervision is one way through which helping professionals further develop their therapeutic skills. We provide clinical supervision for Psychologists, Counsellors and Social Workers.

There are a myriad of factors that can impact a child’s mental health status, both positively and negatively. Providing children with an environment that demonstrates love, compassion, trust, and understanding will greatly impact a child so that they can build on these stepping stones to have a productive lifestyle.

Mindfulness at its simplest, is paying attention to what is happening in the present moment. It may be what you’re feeling, hearing, or anything else you notice. There’s no special place of calm you have to reach and it’s not about clearing your mind, it’s just an honest and kind look at what you’re experiencing in this moment. By teaching children mindfulness skills we help them increase their well-being and enable them to meet the stresses of the world with presence, self-compassion, and openness.

Forest bathing is all about soaking in your surroundings and practicing mindfulness while in nature, whether it’s your backyard, local park, or an actual forest. And a growing body of research shows this approach to nature has health benefits ranging from better sleep to reductions in the stress hormone cortisol.

This may be because forest bathing essentially combines the benefits of meditation with the benefits of being outside in nature. For example, forest bathing and meditation are both mindfulness practices that help you become fully engaged in the present moment. Studies show that cultivating mindfulness can boost memory and focus, promote empathy, reduce stress, and improve attention and behavior in school settings.

Retreat from busy-ness, bask in calmness again on a guided forest bathing experience through a forest in Singapore. This journey will bring us through the sights, sounds and smells on an easy trail of a tropical forest. A sense of wisdom, rootedness and emergence.

When forest bathing, a person focuses on incorporating all five senses – smell, sight, hearing, taste and touch – and to be present at the moment while soaking in the atmosphere of the forest. With so many parks and gardens in Singapore, forest bathing is an accessible way for seniors and caregivers to enjoy the benefits of forest therapy.

In developing the MBTI® instrument, Carl Jung’s theory of psychological type is made both easily understandable and practical to people’s everyday lives. The essence of the theory is that much seemingly random variation in behaviour is actually quite orderly and consistent, owing to basic differences in the ways individuals are oriented toward the external world, take in information and draw conclusions about what they perceive. Self-introspection is sometimes the key to knowing oneself. This assessment is your path to self-discovery, unlocking that ambiguous side of your personality towards better you.

The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a workplace-focused service that assists with identification and resolution of employee concerns which affect or may affect staff performance and productivity. The Employee Assistance Program is for companies to help their employees get insights on their emotional well-being and develop constructive and healthy coping skills to increase their mental resilience for better balance to their work and personal life.

Every employee is an asset to every company and it is important to have happy employees for talent retention and maximum productivity.

Touch Drawing is a simple yet profound process. Paper is placed over wet paint. The pressure of fingertips on the page forms images on the underside. The hands are extensions of the soul, moving in response to the sensations of the moment.

Channels of expression open, enabling feelings to flow. A series of drawings is created, each a stepping stone deeper into the self. This act of creation unleashes vibrant healing forces that guide the psyche toward wholeness. Even an unconfident artist can experience the fulfillment of seeing their interior life come alive on paper. Touch Drawing is used by artists, therapists, social workers, health care practitioners, educators. Touch Drawing is a practice of creative, psychological and spiritual integration.
